Coalitions and local food policy councils need a practical, accessible resource to feel equipped to engage in policy action, making the development of the food systems policy toolkit essential for strengthening conversations, supporting trainings, and enabling more coordinated and effective policy efforts.

Purpose

To identify food systems policies that will increase food security in South Carolina.
